Many residents have both the desire and ability to move beyond the need for subsidized housing over time. CPO housing is a secure platform on which individuals can build their lives and prepare for opportunities.
Using a two-generation approach, growth opportunities are identified or designed in partnership with residents, their children, and other household members. Core assets include problem solving, financial literacy, healthy relationships, parenting skills, health and wellness, leadership, and civic engagement. Key growth pathways for adults include employment, education, and financial capability, while those focused on children include school readiness and success in school.
A primary goal of all CPO Impact activities is to build relationships with residents as a foundation for encouraging and supporting growth when possible.
